Friendly, well situated hotel. From the first time we contacted this hotel we had a fantastic service, especially from Wendy. At all times the staff were friendly and very helpful, arranging trips, giving advice on currencies, ordering taxis and an airport shuttle. The hotel is set on a quieter road just away from the busy beach road but just a 2 minute walk away from the beach and Manuel Antonio reserve. The rooms are clean, comfortable and have air conditioning. Our room was small but there are many pleasant places to sit around the hotel. I would recommend this hotel.

A great time in Manuel Antonio with great staff We had a great stay at this hotel on our last leg of our Costa Rica trip. The hotel has good amenities, a great pool and lovely staff. It’s in a great area, so close to the beach and on the same road as the park entrance. Thank you for having us, will stay again!

Nice hotel close to the beach and Manuel Antonio National Park Employees: Very friendly and those who manned the front desk spoke English. They can book local tours for you.Room: I stayed in two rooms, both of which had SCREENS in the windows! They were nice but had a weak Wi-Fi signal, and were equipped with TVs (I watched the International CNN channel in English) plus small refrigerators. The second room was missing a shower curtain, resulting in a puddle on the tiled bathroom floor. That made it very slick!Breakfast: The free basic buffet was good but the food only varied slightly from day to day. Robust Wi-Fi is available in the hotel restaurant and outdoor lobby area.

Good hotel, bad room Overall, the hotel was nice. It was in a great location near Manuel Antonio National Park and Playa Espadilla. The public bathrooms were clean, the hotel provided snacks and drinks on occasion, and the front desk staff were exceptionally helpful in booking transportation. However, we were placed in a room directly adjacent to the cleaning staff's quarters. We were therefore disrupted by loud washing machine and other sounds at all hours of the day.

Beautiful hotel with charming hostess Lorena We ended up here by luck. We drove into Manuel Antonio with no prior reservations and couldn’t find a place to stay anywhere. Upon arrival here we were greeted by the lovely receptionist Lorena, who informed us that while the hotel was full there were a few “guide rooms” available, and that she could accommodate us in one of them. At a very stressful time for us she helped us out. Her love of her job was evident in every interaction we had with her-from the initial booking to setting us up with several tours to keeping our parking place for us! She turned the pool lights on for us after dark, too, as no one else was swimming at the time. She made our stay one of our favourites in Costa Rica! The accommodations were superb! Our room was very clean, the included breakfast was lovely, and the beautiful rooftop pool was a big splurge for us!

A gem on the edge of Manuel Antonio park I stayed at this hotel during a trip with my good friend - we were planning to visit the Manuel Antonio park and also make day trips to other nearby beaches. The hotel was perfect for our needs. It was beautifully appointed, I felt like I was entering a Spanish villa in the forest. The location is really perfect, we were literally a 4 minute walk into the Manuel Antonio National Park as well as a two minute walk to the main beach in town which had several restaurants, though it felt quite and secluded, not busy where we were. The included breakfast was very good with eggs, meat, fresh fruits, etc. and the hotel has a restaurant and nice pool, though we didn't opt to use either. One hiccup when we arrived was they didn't have a room with double beds as we reserved, but Lorena ("Ana") at reception made it right by giving us two separate rooms with single beds for the same price, and threw in a bottle of red wine! Ana was helpful and friendly throughout our stay, helping with laundry, beach towels, tips about visiting the park, etc. (as were other staff). I'd definitely recommend this place to friends and family traveling. Sorry I didn't take any hotel pics, was mostly outside busy enjoying the Pura Vida! Also, the balconies on the rooms were a beautiful and spacious place to relax, and we woke up in the morning to sounds of the forest, like howler monkeys.

Manuel Antonio National Park

In addition to beaches, the Park offers a very humid tropical forest where species of flora and fauna in danger of extinction coexist, a mangrove, marine environments, islands and a lagoon of 14 hectares. Walking trails surrounded by wildlife and resting on paradisiacal beaches are options that promise to captivate your senses
